5. Downloadable files

To include a downloadable file on a web page, first create a File record inside the page (Article). Specify the file's Title and in the Upload File field select the file for upload. Don't forget to set the Status Public and click Save. The file download link will automatically appear in a downloadable files section below the page text on your website; together with the file Title, Filename and Size information.

Note: Uploading of very large files in eP can take a long time and cause the web server to time out or run out of memory. If this happens, just click Back and retry the upload with a smaller file. Depending on your internet connection speed, the maximum recommended file size for uploads can vary from 1MB to several MBs.
