Project Overview
MM Photos is a Sydney based photography studio specialising in newborn, family and pet photography. The brand identity was designed to feel refined, timeless and emotionally aligned with the imagery, creating a premium yet approachable presence that allows the photography to remain the hero while maintaining a strong and recognisable brand foundation.
The Strategy
The logo system was developed with simplicity and versatility at its core, using clean typography and balanced spacing to communicate professionalism and longevity. A restrained colour palette ensures cohesion across digital and print applications, while carefully structured logo variations allow the brand to function seamlessly across website, watermark, social media and client materials.
Creative Direction & Inspiration
The creative direction was inspired by the softness and intimacy of family photography, leading to a minimal and elegant visual language that feels calm, sophisticated and enduring. Neutral tones and refined typography were intentionally selected to support the emotional storytelling of the imagery without overpowering it.
